Who we are
A project developer and financier focused on Africa
NorthernRad Limited was registered in Scotland on 23 July 2018. We identify, develop, finance and fundraise for viable developmental and sustainable projects.
Building on a team of associates with extensive experience in sustainability, development and ICT projects, we are well positioned to meet the challenges of the rapidly growing African market.
Our subsidiary, Finko Energy Limited, is developing several renewable energy projects in Tanzania and the region. We are also developing a portfolio of carbon credit projects in Tanzania and Zambia.

A large-scale reforestation programme that restores forest cover and generates carbon credits from the carbon the new forest removes from the atmosphere.

Improved Cookstoves Project

Replacing traditional cooking with efficient stoves reduces the wood and charcoal households burn. That cuts emissions, eases pressure on forests and reduces household smoke.
